As we receive the governmental requests to refrain from meeting in groups of more than ten, we are evaluating how best to minister to our congregation and show respect for the authority that is over us. With consideration to the health and wellbeing of all members of our congregation, we have decided to suspend all of our services and activities through the end of March and shift to a new format.
Our Sunday sermon will be recorded and available online Sunday morning as well as links to various worship songs. In addition, we will provide compelling questions for you and your family to work through.
For our elementary students, content will be posted in the church and Route 252 Facebook groups for parents to explore with their children.
For our Jr. High and High school students, we will post online content for them to enjoy in place of their regular meetings.
We are also looking to offer more online content that will address social and personal issues. We are hoping to create this material and have it available going forward permanently.
Our webpage is enhanced to make online giving easier. We strongly encourage you to continue your faithful tithes and faith promise giving through this medium or by mailing them to Crossroads Family Ministries 200 W. Lockhart St. Sayre, PA18840.
The question I would like you to ask yourself is, “How can I best love and serve my community?” I want to challenge everyone to prayerfully and thoughtfully check in on your friends, family (including church family), and neighbors to see if there is a need that you could meet. If nothing else, ask them if you could pray for them. Let them feel the love of Christ in your kind words and actions.
We know that this is a rapidly changing situation. Please know that these decisions have been made out of care and not fear. We will continue to update you with any changes as they become evident. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the church office.
