Tyson Wahl || Lead Pastor
Pastor Tyson Wahl, having grown up in Southern California, came to the Northeast to attend Baptist Bible College (now Clark Summit University) in Clarks Summit, PA where he met and married his true love, Heidi, in 1997. After graduating from BBC and serving the Lord as a Bible teacher at Hemet Christian school in Hemet, CA, Tyson and Heidi felt GOD calling them to return to this area to join the staff of Crossroads under the leadership of Pastor Jim Fox. Together, Tyson and Heidi have worked and developed the many facets of our children and youth ministries. After ten years as Youth Pastor, our church called Tyson to become Lead Pastor, as Pastor Jim Fox retired in 2014.
Pastor Tyson spends much of his time studying, mentoring, counseling, and teaching. Always focusing on his Next Step, he recently completed his Doctorate Studies, earning a Doctorate in Discipleship and Mentoring. During his free time, he travels with his wife, soaks up the sun by the pool, takes the motorcycle out with the guys, shares Discipleship around the world, and continuously thinks of ways to do ministry better for our community and culture.

Roger VanOstrand || Worship Pastor
Pastor Roger VanOstrand, originally from Windsor, NY, attended SUNY Albany and finished his degree at Davis College in Johnson City, NY. Roger picked up a guitar in Albany during his time spent with Campus Crusade and felt GOD directing him towards music ministry. Roger and Beverly were married in 2004 and moved to Sayre, PA, where they began attending Crossroads and ministering in the couples, young families, and music ministries. Roger and Beverly have three children, ages sixteen, fifteen, and ten.
In 2015 we brought on Pastor Roger as part-time staff where spent his time on our Discipleship programs, the Music/Worship ministry of Crossroads, our Men's Ministry, and Couples' Ministry. In 2022 we hired him on as our full time Worship Pastor where he continues to serve with our music ministry and all aspects of our services as well as Men's Ministries, Discipleship, and Small Groups. He enjoys music, gaming, and playing outdoors with his children.

Tyler Schutt || Youth Pastor
Tyler Schutt, from Waverly, NY first came to Crossroads Family Ministries as a young boy in our Youth Group, initially led by Pastor Tyson and then Pastor Jeremy. In 2016 he began his journey into Pastoral Studies at Davis College in Johnson City, NY. In the summer of 2019, Tyler took on an Internship here at Crossroads under both Pastor Tyson and Pastor Jeremy. Following his graduation from Davis College in May of 2020 Tyler was asked to stay on as the Interim Youth Pastor as we said farewell to Pastor Jeremy Maslin and his family as they felt God's leading to another church as Lead Pastor. Pastor Tyler was soon hired on as our Youth Pastor and now oversees our Children and Youth Ministry programs. He is passionate about ministering to our children and their families and pours into the lives of the youth that come through his doors. He also enjoys a good WWE match, is often caught echoing a little Chris Farley, and is instrumental in most drama and video productions that happen at Crossroads Family Ministries. Pastor Tyler recently married his sweetheart Nikki who now serves alongside him in children's and youth ministries here at Crossroads.
A Short History Of Crossroads Family Ministries
Crossroads Family Ministries was founded in 1954 as Keystone Baptist Church by Pastor Donald Green. Pastor Green grew many ministries and pastored the church for 35 years until his retirement in 1989 when Pastor Jim Fox took on the position of pastor. Pastor Fox continued to grow and expand the ministries of the church, including changing the name from Keystone Baptist Church to Crossroads Family Ministries in the early 2000's. After 25 years of service at Crossroads Pastor Fox retired and our Youth Pastor, Tyson Wahl, took over as Lead Pastor of Crossroads. It was soon clear that this growing ministry could no longer fit in its current location on Fulton Street in South Waverly, Pennsylvania and a new location was purchased at 200 W. Lockhart Street in downtown Sayre, Pennsylvania. Our church, ministries, and outreach continue to grow as we reach out to our community with the mission of loving God, loving others, and serving others.
Outreaches of Crossroads
Since the founding of our church in 1954 we have had a heart towards reaching the entire world: from our small valley here in upstate Pennsylvania, across the United States, to all around the World.
